Massimo Cusato ha partecipato attivamente alla ventesima edizione del Kosa Annual International Percussion Workshop, che si è tenuto dal 21 al 26 Luglio 2015, negli Stati Uniti, nel Castleton State College del Vermont, una regione che fa parte dell’affascinante New England. Il Kosa è un Drum Camp e un Festival allo stesso tempo, capace di radunare batteristi di ogni livello ed età, provenienti da tutto il mondo.
Ogni giorno vengono composte classi di dimensioni ridotte che potranno scegliere l’area di studio di maggiore interesse, partecipare a diversi tipi di concerti, laboratori giornalieri di Rhythm Section, concerti per ensemble di percussioni, di brazilian batucada, africani, Steel Drum band, drum circles, jam session e molto altro ancora. Oltre a Massimo Cusato, il cast degli insegnati include artisti del calibro di: John Blackwell, Glen Velez, Dennis Chambers, Mario DeCiutiis…

Twenty years of THE Drum Camp, an event like no other… where participants, learn, perform with, and live with some of the finest artists of our time. Our KoSA Alumni Faculty, over the past two decades, features a veritable “who’s who” of contemporary percussion. From Neil Pert to Benard Purdie, from Carmine and Vinny Appice to Greg Bissonette, and so many more, KoSA has enriched the lives of thousands of participants and artists alike. The KoSA experience is an event many make their annual pilgrimage… and first timers leave with a life time’s worth of memories and more.
